Hard wax is not recommended for larger areas such as legs and arms because this breakage will occur. This type of wax also does not leave a sticky residue. 
Soft Wax: Soft wax exfoliates the skin more as it adheres to the skin. Soft wax is also better at grabbing small, fine hairs. This type of wax is best for larger areas and uses the standard waxing strips that can be pulled off. Soft wax is best for bikini areas as it is less painful for these areas.
